We value human rights

Our shared responsibility

We respect internationally recognized human rights standards in all our operations and across our value chain. We are committed to identifying and minimizing potential adverse impacts from our global business activities to human rights. We are committed to treating people fairly, preventing harm, and promoting safe and decent working conditions. Omterra expects our employees and business partners to adhere to these human rights principles.

Why it matters

Everything is connected. Human rights violations can cause serious harm and damage trust. We value human rights by identifying risks early and taking action to prevent or reduce harm.

How we energize with integrity

We value human rights by:

  • Identifying and assessing human rights risks, when necessary, and monitoring progress to reduce harm.
  • Respecting workers’ freedom of association and right to collective bargaining and promoting constructive dialogue in line with applicable laws.
  • Providing fair wages and complying with working-hour regulations.
  • Paying special attention to people who are particularly vulnerable, such as migrant workers or members of marginalized communities.
  • Providing reporting channels for workers and affected stakeholders to raise concerns.
