We use technology in a safe and responsible way. Company systems, devices, and digital tools help us do our work. We protect them from misuse, cyber threats, and unauthorized access.

Why it matters

Cyberattacks and data leaks can disrupt our work and expose our company to legal and financial risks. Misusing AI or using unsafe communication tools can lead to unintended disclosures of assets and confidential information. We protect Omterra by using technology carefully and staying alert.

How we energize with integrity

We use technology wisely by:

  • Following company security rules and procedures when using devices, systems, and networks.
  • Protecting passwords and never sharing login details.
  • Watching for phishing attempts and reporting suspicious messages right away.
  • Using AI responsibly and only using approved AI tools.
  • Critically reviewing and validating all AI-generated outputs before using them in production systems or internal workflows.
  • Using only approved company communication channels for business and reporting cybersecurity incidents. We do not use ephemeral messaging channels.

Answer: No. Business communications must be retained as required by our policies. Use approved company systems only so records are preserved and compliance obligations can be met.
