We keep our workplace safe, healthy, and secure

Our shared responsibility

Omterra is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and secure work environment. Each of us shares responsibility for preventing injuries, protecting our well-being, and maintaining a secure workplace.

Why it matters

Our work often involves complex operations and high-risk environments. Unsafe behavior can cause serious injury, harm the environment, or disrupt our business. A secure workplace also protects our colleagues, facilities, and communities. We protect ourselves and others by following safety rules and speaking up when something is not right.

Security and crisis management

We support a workplace that promotes physical and mental well-being. So:

  • Do not work while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
  • Seek support if you are struggling with substance use or mental health concerns.
  • Report work-related injuries or illnesses promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements in your role.

Health and wellness

Take precautions like:

  • Follow travel security instructions, site security rules, and visitor procedures.
  • Do not bring weapons or prohibited items into the workplace.
  • Stay alert to suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or security threats.

Report security incidents immediately to your local security contact and use the security incident reporting tool Enablon.

How we energize with integrity

We keep our workplace safe, healthy, and secure by:

  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Stopping work and reporting the issue if conditions are unsafe.
  • Reporting injuries, illnesses, near misses, or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Not engaging in threats, intimidation, or violent behavior.
  • Supporting a culture where safety and well-being are openly discussed.
